The CEA (Construction Equipment Association) is delighted to announce that there are some new CEA members that they would like to welcome to the fold; G&M Radiator, Deutz, Total and Engcon.  In the coming weeks we will be issuing a write up on each company and sharing the good news with other CEA members and through our Social Media channels.

Here is the first of our write-ups!

G&M Radiator Company has been a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial cooling products for the construction industry.

The company say that from initial design and prototyping through to final production, it provides bespoke cooling and heat transfer solutions for both its Original Equipment and after-market customers world-wide.

As part of the G&M Group, G&M Radiator has built a global reputation for providing high-quality cooling solutions for Plant, Off-Highway, Power generation, Locomotive, Marine/Off-shore and Military Vehicles.

G&M say that they are renowned for their engineering expertise, and with the company’s in-house design engineers and tool makers it is able to offer competitive pricing with short lead-times. G&M Designs are prepared using the latest 3-D modeling and processing software in combination with propriety heat transfer analysis software to optimize our products and best address our customers cooling requirements.

All its designs are validated with its own in-house wind tunnel.

In addition to supplying new products, G&M are experts at overhauling and up-grading heat exchangers, which can often be a more cost-effective solution to direct replacement on some older machinery.

John McGeady, business development manager at G&M Radiator said, “When a customer has a 50 tonne tipper broken down in a quarry, we understand just how costs can start to rocket.  Our large warehouse is always well stocked which means we can respond promptly with an off the shelf replacement part which will minimise the downtime and lost revenue.  Next day UK and European delivery is all part of the service.”

We asked why G & M joined the CEA?

John Blake managing director, G&M Radiator said, “CEA is the most influential and respected association amongst construction equipment companies and professionals and we welcome the opportunity to further extend our customer base by becoming a member.

Mr Blake continued “As a company and group, we have been steadily increasing our range of radiators, oil coolers and intercoolers for construction and plant, agricultural and power-generation equipment and are in an exciting period of our development.  We have many innovative and cost effective heat exchange products for machinery, plant and equipment used in the construction sector and the CEA is the ideal association to showcase our company. We look forward to introducing our comprehensive range of services for the benefit of all its members.”

G&M will also be exhibiting at the CEA’s Plantworx 2015 construction machinery exhibition.

“We visited Plantworx in 2013 as we recognised that this sector of the market place had huge sales potential for our range of products. We were very impressed by the wide diversity of companies exhibiting there and made the decision that we would exhibit in 2015 alongside our sister company Alutec.” Said Mr Blake

“The Plantworx target audience are from the precise market we are aiming at – plant managers, plant and tool hire managers, construction managers, contractors, machine operators, owner operators, machine specifiers and construction professionals.

These people are the decision makers who look for service, reliability and value for money when they need to buy parts and we know we have a lot to offer them.

Plantworx is the ideal opportunity to get ourselves face to face with these folk and show them what we have to offer.”
