Bauma China

Shanghai

25-28 November 2014

The CEA has been given UKTI support to run a UK Pavilion at Bauma China 2014 and stand sales for this event are now open. The UKTI Trade Access Programme (TAP) offers grants of £2,500 per eligible UK exhibitor and if you are new to Bauma China this is increased to £3,000. The good news on grants is that UKTI have extended the number of ‘lives’ and an eligible company can now have a maximum of 12 grants since 1 April 2009; providing at least six are taken in high growth markets such as China. The matched funding rule has also been dropped, as has the rule about being a new exporter. So many more of you should now be eligible for a grant.

Bauma China is a leading trade fair for the entire construction and building-material machine industry in China and all of Asia. The exhibition takes place at the New International Expo Centre in Shanghai from 25-28 November 2014. Bauma China set new records in 2012:

  • 2,718 exhibitors from 38 countries – up 46%
  • 300,000 sqm – up 30%
  • Around 180,000 trade visitors from 141 countries – up 16%
  • 93% of all visitors were decision-makers looking specifically for new solutions: CEOs, managers, investors and buyers from around the world.

The CEA is holding space for a UK Pavilion in an excellent location and we have held our prices the same as the 2012 event! Interest is already high and with bookings already been taken and space is limited so please apply early for both your space and your UKTI grant. Please contact angela.spink@admin.co.uk to secure your space at Bauma China!
