Kubota’s BUEE (Business Unit Engine Europe) will demonstrate its belief that there is no one single fuel type for the future by bringing its dynamic “One source, Multiple Solutions” engine range to Agritechnica 2019.

Headed by the 5-litreitre, “Diesel of the Year” V5009 large-displacement engine, Kubota’s highest performance engine to date, the extensive line-up will demonstrate the company’s capability to cater to the needs of the agricultural equipment industry across an expanding power range, incorporating multiple fuel types.

Hosted in Hanover on November 10-16, Agritechnica is the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural technology. For the first time at an agricultural show, Kubota will showcase its comprehensive, most efficient and high-performance engines to date.

On display will be the V5009 diesel engine, part of the new 09 Series which is complemented by the V4309 4-liter diesel engine. Designed and developed to take on the tough environments of larger agricultural, construction and materials handling machinery, possible applications for both engines include telehandlers, wheel loaders, crop sprayers and harvesting equipment.

Introducing its higher performance engines is an integral part of Kubota’s long-term global business strategy to provide the market with an engine platform for every fuel type and application. The new 09 Series heads up a continuously expanding range of Gasoline fueled engine models on display, designed specifically for a variety of machine types used in areas such as urban municipal environments. These include the new V1505-CR-T, WG1903 and D902-T power units.

Cementing its position as a trusted global brand within an increasingly uncertain world, Kubota’s renewed focus on energy efficiency reinforces its environmental credentials and its customer-centric approach behind the “Kubota, The Answer” tagline. Kubota is focusing equally on both new engine technologies and enhanced levels of customer after-care.

“Last year was a record year for us in terms of engine sales, a fact I am incredibly proud of,” said Tony Tonegawa, Vice President, Kubota Business Unit Engine Europe. “However, rather than just resting on this result, we are instead using it as the foundation from which to build our future activity. With EU Stage V emissions regulations now live, it is more important than ever that we produce a more energy efficient range of engines that offer an increasingly global solution to meet our customers’ needs.”

“We are coming to Agritechnica to showcase the growing number of options Kubota can offer,” said Daniel Grant, European Marketing Manager, Kubota Business Unit Engine Europe. “We know traditionally our reputation has been to provide hugely reliable engines at the below 100 horsepower level. With the 09 Series, we can now offer customers the same trust values on a larger scale, while at the same time satisfying a growing desire to downsize through greater engine efficiency.”
