The Construction Equipment Association (CEA) has the difficulties at key UK ports on their radar.
CEA Chief Executive, Rob Oliver, reports, “Regardless of the Brexit FTA talks, there is a big issue with the hold-ups at key English container ports, notably Felixstowe and Southampton. CEA members, who operate in the global trading environment, need government action to fast track Covid-19 PPE supplies through the ports, so they don’t block our normal business. Either with imports or exports, we are committed to the “Build Back Better” ambition to support the UK’s economy.
