In response to a number of expressions of interest from members, we are holding a Pathfinder Meeting for a new CEA Digital Interest Group on Tuesday 30th January.
The purpose of the meeting will be to have a round table exchange of views to determine priorities for the work of the group – concentrating on areas where members believe that the CEA can make a difference. This could be in taking action on particular topics or providing a conduit for information. Digitisation is a subject with vast scope, ranging from data protection issues, BIM and “smart” construction sites to the digital factory. There are also issues around market acceptance of innovation. At our next CEA Conference, on 22nd March, and themed “Innovation is here…”, there will be a further opportunity to examine some of the digital drivers now around us.
The meeting will take place from 10.30 hrs on Tuesday 30th January 218 in the Harrington Room at Coombe Abbey Hotel, Brinklow Road, Binley, Warwickshire CV3 2AB. A sandwich lunch will be provided with a view to a 14.00 hrs finish.
If you are interested in being in on the “ground floor” of this initiative would you please advise us of your representative by 23rd January.
Please click here to RSVP. Bear in mind that the purpose of the meeting is to exchange views and ideas to develop the forward agenda, so all attendees will be expected to take an active part.
