We hope you enjoyed the CEA’s first Power Hour last week on the subject of Government and Construction. If you didn’t make the webinar, or would like to listen again, the slides are available on the CEA website here.
The recording is now on our YouTube Channel https://youtu.be/brCwmqUz8_I
Presenter Fergus Harradance, who leads for BEIS on sponsorship of the construction sector, brought listeners up to speed on the Impact of COVID-19 on the construction sector. Fergus went on to look at programmes the government has in place to expedite the Industry Recovery Plan through Project Speed and accelerating the Infrastructure Pipeline projects announced in July.
The next CEA Power Hour takes place on Tuesday 25 August between 13.00 and 14.00.
The topic is – Increasing Cashflow Through the Government’s R&D Tax Credit Scheme.
There has never been a more crucial time to boost your company’s cashflow. R&D tax credits are a vital, but massively untapped funding line, for both profitable and loss-making businesses. There are many misconceptions regarding the Government’s R&D Tax Credit scheme. CEA Service Partner, MPA, will talk you through the scheme informing you how it applies to the Construction industry and how to maximise your claim. Even if you have already filed a claim, there is often an increase in the value if you are working with a specialist R&D provider for up to two years post-project.
The webinar is presented by MPA Ltd www.mpa.co.uk, experts in obtaining R&D tax credits for manufacturers – including CEA members. The MPA presentation will be supported by sector case studies showing how significant R&D funds have been reclaimed.
